BreakOut West is a 4-day music industry conference and a 3-night showcase music festival. The event showcases the best of western Canadian music and visits a different host city each year. In 2023, BreakOut West returns to Kelowna, Oct 11 to 15. The event has visited Kelowna twice in the past, once in 2010 and again in 2018.

Led by the Western Canadian Music Alliance, based in Winnipeg, MB, and a group of local volunteers, BreakOut West 2023 will see 60+ musical acts across 3 nights, 125 live music performances, 80+ conference speakers, 230+ conference sessions, the Western Canadian Music Awards and more. And it’s all happening right here in Kelowna.
